California High School Volleyball - Chavez tips Canoga Park
September 9, 2022: Canoga Park, CA 91303 Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) in a East Valley match, on Monday, September 12. Chavez will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Parrots come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
With the loss, Canoga Park drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Hunters travel to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a Valley Mission match on Monday, September 12. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 5-7. Van Nuys won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA)
