March 23, 2018: Pawley's Island, SC 29585 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) and the host Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC), saw Cardinal Newman's soccer squad beat Waccamaw by a count of 4-0.
The Cardinals now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Lippen for a SCISA AAA Region I test on Tuesday, March 27. Cardinal Newman will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Waccamaw drops to 5-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 24. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 3-8. Brookland-Cayce lost 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC)
