September 9, 2013: Charlotte, NC 28210 Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a 4A Southwestern match, on Tuesday, September 10. Porter Ridge will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
With the loss, South Mecklenburg drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a 4A So. Meck 8 match on Tuesday, September 10. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 1-6. Olympic lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
