Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 7. Lincoln Northeast will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The SkyHawks come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marian (Omaha, NE).

With the loss, Omaha Central drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to clash with the Monarchs in a A District match on Tuesday, September 10.
