California High School Soccer - Serra held off by St. Paul
February 6, 2009: Gardena, CA 90249 The St. Paul Swordsmen tipped the host Serra Cavaliers soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Friday's league match.
The Swordsmen now hold a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard for a Camino Real match on Monday, February 9. St. Paul will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, Serra drops to 4-12 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart (Montebello, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Camino Real match on Monday, February 9. The Cardinals come into the match with a record of 2-10.
