Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE), 56-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Guardian Angels Central Catholic upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Wynot (Wynot, NE) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 10. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Wynot won 63-14 in their recent league bout against Winside (Winside, NE)

Next up, the Shamrocks play the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 11. Scotus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 62-22 non-league win over Centura (Cairo, NE).
