In Saturday's non-league outing, the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) basketball squad felled the host Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), by a margin of 39-29.

The Titans (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers go into the C2 District 8 outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Fillmore Central was beaten by David City (David City, NE), 51-43, in a non-league outing.

The Jeffs now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 15. Fairbury will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 66-28 non-league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 2-0.
