Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dragons confront the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Tuesday, May 25. Pekin will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.

The Spartans now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 24.
