March 8, 2021: Carrollton, GA 30116 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), saw Central's soccer squad beat Troup County by a margin of 5-1.
The Lions now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 test on Friday, March 12. Central will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Troup County drops to 0-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Brookstone (Columbus, GA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 16.
