Minnesota High School Basketball - Simley crushes Benilde-St. Margaret's
December 13, 2014: St. Louis Park, MN 55416 Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the host Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), 79-57 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Simley improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Tartan (Oakdale, MN) to play the Titans in a Metro East challenge on Tuesday, December 16. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Tartan won 69-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN)
Next up, the Red Knights play the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Benilde-St. Margaret's will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 59-53 non-league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN).
