In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Las Cruces BULLDAWGS basketball squad scored a close 45-40 win over the Cathedral Fighting Irish.

The BULLDAWGS (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Hobbs got by Midland Lee (Midland, TX), 74-23, in a non-league test.

The Fighting Irish now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chapin for a non-league test on Thursday, November 20. Cathedral will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
