January 10, 2015: Cary, NC 27513 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) and the host Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC), saw Charlotte Christian's basketball squad overcome Cary Academy by a tally of 61-44.
With the victory, Charlotte Christian improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to confront the Lions in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Covenant Day lost 78-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Christ School (Arden, NC)
Next up, the Chargers confront the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Triangle challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Cary Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 69-55 non-league loss to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC).
