New Jersey High School Basketball - Bloomfield overwhelms Nutley
January 10, 2015: Bloomfield, NJ 07003 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) and the visiting Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ), saw Bloomfield's basketball squad wallop Nutley by a tally of 52-31.
With the victory, Bloomfield improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Central (Newark, NJ) to play the Blue Devils in a Super Essex - Liberty challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Central won 68-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Snyder (Jersey City, NJ)
Next up, the Maroon Raiders play the Millburn Millers (Millburn, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 31. Nutley will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
