In Friday's league outing, the ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) basketball squad nipped the visiting Stark Generals (Weare, NH), by a margin of 64-60.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hanover (Hanover, NH). The Marauders go into the Division II outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Hanover got by Plymouth (Plymouth, NH), 55-34, in a league outing.

The Generals now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Manchester West for a Division II match on Tuesday, February 3. Stark will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 84-50 league win over Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Blue Knights record now stands at 9-2.
