North Carolina High School Lacrosse - South Mecklenburg drops to David W. Butler

March 20, 2019: Charlotte, NC 28210

David W. Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 14-7 in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkwood for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21. David W. Butler will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 1-5.

In their next game, the Sabres clash with the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 22. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 21-11 non-league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC).
