Wisconsin High School Softball - Darlington nudges Belleville
April 13, 2024: Darlington, WI 53530 Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Belleville Wildcats (Belleville, WI), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Redbirds now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale for a SWAL challenge on Monday, April 15. Darlington will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Ithaca (Richland Center, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Belleville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Waterloo (Waterloo, WI) to face the Pirates in a Capitol - South challenge on Monday, April 15. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Waterloo won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Fond du Lac (North Fond du Lac, WI)
