Kentucky High School Softball - Pulaski County bounces Tates Creek
April 12, 2024: Somerset, KY 42503 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) and the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), saw Pulaski County's softball squad nip Tates Creek by a count of 9-4.
The Maroons now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockcastle County for a District 47 match on Monday, April 15. Pulaski County will face a Rockets squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 5-14.
With the loss, Tates Creek falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Commodores host Lafayette (Lexington, KY) to face the Generals in a District 43 match on Monday, April 15. The Generals enter the match with a record of 8-8. Lafayette lost 12-8 in their recent non-league match against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY)
