Texas High School Softball - Porter bounces Sterling
February 27, 2024: Baytown, TX 77521 Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), 12-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Iowa Colony for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Porter will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Sterling falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rangers host Brazosport (Freeport, TX) to battle the Exporters in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Exporters enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Brazosport won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX)
