In Friday's league battle, the host Cypress Creek Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cypress Springs Panthers.

The Cougars (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Cy-Ridge (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region III District 17 battle with a 16-11 record. In their last battle, Cy-Ridge lost by Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Cy-Fair Bobcats (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Cypress Springs will attempt to advance on its 7-18 season record.
