In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 22. Lexington will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
