Indiana High School Basketball - South Central trounced by New Prairie
January 28, 2017: New Carlisle, IN 46552 In Saturday's non-league match, the host New Prairie Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 76-45 triumph over the South Central Satellites.
In their next game, the Cougars face the South Bend St. Joseph Indians (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana match, on Thursday, February 2. New Prairie will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 4-10 record after their 51-48 league win over South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN).
With the defeat, South Central moves to 8-8 on the year. The Satellites travel to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to face the Cherokees in a Porter County match on Thursday, February 2. The Cherokees enter the match with a record of 7-6. Morgan Township lost 67-48 in their recent non-league match against 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN)
