California High School Basketball - Central Valley Christian holds off Mission Oak
January 5, 2017: Visalia, CA 93277 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (Visalia, CA) and the visiting Mission Oak Hawks (Tulare, CA), saw Central Valley Christian's basketball squad hold off Mission Oak by a tally of 73-72.
With the victory, Central Valley Christian improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Fresno Christian won 64-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA) in a East Yosemite challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mission Oak will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Golden West (Visalia, CA).
