Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge crushes Carlisle

February 7, 2017: St. George, VA 22935

Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Martinsville, VA), 79-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Millwood (Midlothian, VA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 10-11.

Next up, the Chiefs play the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a Virginia Independent bout, on Thursday, February 9. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bishops come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 80-49 non-league win over Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
