The Blue Ridge Barons topped the visiting Middleburg Academy Dragon basketball team by a final score of 71-53 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Barons face the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a Virginia Independent game, on Friday, January 27. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 20-1 season record. The Bishops enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 73-70 non-league win over Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA).

With the defeat, Middleburg Academy moves to 7-7 on the year. The Dragon travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to face the Crusader in a Capital Beltway game on Friday, January 27.
