Florida High School Basketball - Zephyrhills nips Friendship Collegiate Academy
December 30, 2016: Zephyrhills, FL 33542 Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC), 56-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Zephyrhills upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Citrus (Inverness, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Knights play the Idea Timberwolves (Washington, DC) in a PSCAADC bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Friendship Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 76-70 non-league loss to West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA).
