In Wednesday's league outing, the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) basketball squad edged the host Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), by a margin of 66-64.

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks go into the Howard County outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, River Hill held off Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 50-36, in a league outing.
