Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hope Lutheran Patriots (Winona, MN), 68-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Lanesboro upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Burros host Houston (Houston, MN) to clash with the Hurricanes in a Southeast - East bout on Thursday, January 5. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN) in a Southeast - West bout, on Friday, January 6. Hope Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
