In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), by a count of 77-61.

The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Maine-Endwell (Endwell, NY). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Maine-Endwell defeated St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 47-43, in a non-league outing.
