Kentucky High School Basketball - Grant County topples Montgomery County
January 10, 2017: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), by a count of 67-54.
The Braves (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Pendleton County defeated Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 81-49, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now hold a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to George Rogers Clark for a District 40 outing on Friday, January 13. Montgomery County will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-7.
