Georgia High School Baseball - Woodland loses to Cedartown
April 8, 2022: Cartersville, GA 30120 The Cedartown Bulldogs crushed the host Woodland Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 9-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now hold a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Cedartown will face a Raiders team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-23.
Next, the Wildcats face the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, April 12. Woodland will attempt to advance on its 10-14 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 15-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA).
