Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Santa Rita Eagles (Tucson, AZ), 26-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Valley Union upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ) to battle the Apaches in a 1A South test on Monday, April 25. The Apaches come into the test with a record of 0-10. Fort Thomas lost 22-4 in their recent league test against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ)
