March 18, 2022: Baton Rouge, LA 70818 St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Charles Catholic upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Comets travel to Ruston (Ruston, LA) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 11-5. Ruston won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Live Oak (Watson, LA)
With the defeat, Central falls to 6-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 19.
