The Esperanza Aztecs the host Canyon Comanches softball squad by a final score of 5-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Aztecs (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Wildcats go into the North Hills battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Brea Olinda by Foothill (Santa Ana, CA), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

The Comanches now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Yorba Linda for a Crestview battle on Thursday, April 19. Canyon will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.
