Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) and the visiting Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA), witnessed Hughson's softball squad prevail over Mariposa County by a count of 8-0.

The Huskies now sport a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Linden for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 16. Hughson will face a Lions squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Lions record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, Mariposa County moves to 18-6 on the season.
