New Mexico High School Softball - Valencia bounces Rio Rancho
February 28, 2018: Los Lunas, NM 87031 Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), 18-13 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hobbs for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 3. Valencia will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Rio Rancho falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Hobbs won 14-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)
