Colorado High School Basketball - Denver East nudges Ralston Valley
January 16, 2010: Denver, CO 80206 Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO), 60-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Denver East upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Angels host Denver West (Denver, CO) to encounter the Cowboys in a 5A/4A Denver Prep bout on Friday, January 22. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Denver West lost 53-38 in their recent non-league bout against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO)
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) in a 5A Jeffco bout, on Wednesday, January 20. Ralston Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 61-47 league loss to Standley Lake (Westminster, CO).
