In Saturday's league match, the visiting Elkins Knights basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the Austin Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Marshall Buffalos (Missouri City, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 match, on Tuesday, February 16. Elkins will attempt to better on its 26-7 season record. The Buffalos enter the match with a 15-16 record after their 62-56 league win over Clements (Sugar Land, TX).

With the defeat, Austin moves to 12-16 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Bush (Richmond, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 5A Region III District 23 match on Tuesday, February 16.
