Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northmont upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Sidney (Sidney, OH) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 15. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio - North bout, on Friday, December 11. Piqua will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, OH).
