In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a margin of 67-60.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northview (Covina, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Northview got by Alhambra (Alhambra, CA), 75-55, in a non-league outing.
