Ohio High School Basketball - Hoover fells Lake
December 11, 2009: North Canton, OH 44720 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the visiting Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH), saw Hoover's basketball squad overcome Lake by a count of 58-46.
With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH) to play the Falcons in a Federal challenge on Tuesday, December 15. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Austintown-Fitch won 71-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Chaney (Youngstown, OH)
Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 12. Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 77-64 non-league win over Struthers (Struthers, OH).
