Colorado High School Basketball - Arvada West holds off Green Mountain
January 29, 2010: Lakewood, CO 80228 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO) and the host Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO), saw Arvada West's basketball squad hold off Green Mountain by a count of 57-54.
With the victory, Arvada West upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO) to play the Bears in a 5A Jeffco challenge on Wednesday, February 3. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Bear Creek lost 58-53 in their recent league challenge against Pomona (Arvada, CO)
Next up, the Rams play the Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO) in a 5A Jeffco challenge, on Wednesday, February 3. Green Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 69-54 league win over Columbine (Littleton, CO).
