Junction Eagles (Junction, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rocksprings Angoras (Rocksprings, TX), 60-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Junction upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Gervin Academy (San Antonio, TX) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 24. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Gervin Academy won 82-30 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX)

Next up, the Angoras play the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 22. Rocksprings will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 17-11 record after their 62-60 league win over Stacey (San Antonio, TX).
