New Jersey High School Basketball - Payne Tech nips Rahway
February 12, 2024: Newark, NJ 07107 Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ), 46-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Payne Tech upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Lions host Rahway (Rahway, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-11.
Next up, the Indians play the Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Rahway will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ).
