November 21, 2023: Gladewater, TX 75647 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) and the host Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), saw Wylie's basketball squad wallop Gladewater by a tally of 91-22.
With the victory, Wylie improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host South Garland (Garland, TX) to confront the Titans in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. South Garland won 36-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Bears confront the Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Gladewater will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
