South Dakota High School Basketball - Lyman topples Herreid/Selby
February 3, 2024: Herreid, SD 57632 In Saturday's league outing, the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) basketball squad beat the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), by a count of 42-25.
The Raiders (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Cossacks go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Sioux Valley was topped by Flandreau (Flandreau, SD), 49-37, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wakpala for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Herreid/Selby will clash with a Sioux squad coming off a 76-39 non-league win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 13-5.
