The Brownstown Central Braves basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Salem Lions to 20 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a Mid-Southern contest on Saturday, December 9. Brownstown Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-38 league loss to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

The Lions (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Panthers enter the Mid-Southern contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Corydon Central triumphed over Austin (Austin, IN), 52-38, in a league contest.
