January 30, 2024: Kathleen, GA 31047 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) and the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), saw Veterans's basketball squad overcome Tift County by a tally of 62-53.
With the victory, Veterans improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Warhawks host Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Thomas County Central won 60-23 in their recent league challenge against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tift County will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 74-31 non-league loss to Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA).
