Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Menno Wolves (Menno, SD), 42-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corsica/Stickney upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Winner (Winner, SD) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Winner won 42-34 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Menno will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
