December 12, 2023: Morrilton, AR 72110 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Mulberry Yellowjackets basketball team scored a tight 40-35 triumph over the Sacred Heart Rebels.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) in a 1A Region 1 West match, on Friday, December 15. Mulberry will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Griffins enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 50-41 league loss to County Line (Branch, AR).
With the defeat, Sacred Heart moves to 10-6 on the year. The Rebels host Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR) to meet the Thunderbirds in a 1A Region 4 match on Friday, December 15. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 4-5.
