Arkansas High School Basketball - Mena crushes Booneville
November 28, 2023: Mena, AR 71953 Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR), 52-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mena upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR) to play the Apaches in a 4A Region 4 bout on Friday, December 1. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Pottsville lost 61-33 in their recent non-league bout against Quitman (Quitman, AR)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Booneville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 57-38 non-league win over Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR).
